Jim McGroarty is entering his second year at Patriots Glen. The JMAC Golf Academy is continuing to grow and develop programs to benefit players of all ages and abilities. Prior to that, Jim worked at many area facilities including Chisel Creek Golf Club where he served as Head Professional, Tanglewood Golf Club where he served as Director of Instruction and Back Creek Golf Club where he served as Director of Golf.
His instructional career began in 1997 at The Hamlet Golf and C.C. in New York. Over the past 12 years, Jim has had the opportunity to work with and observe some of the finest teaching minds in the game. Current and past students include Touring Professionals, Collegiate Players, US Amateur Qualifiers, US Publinks Finalist and Nationally Ranked Junior golfers. Many of Jim’s juniors have won national, regional and local tournaments and over 35 juniors have received college scholarships. Jim has spent the past 7 years as a Tournament Director for The Future Collegians
Private Lessons

LESSON PACKAGE DISCOUNTS: Private lessons for both adults and juniors are offered at a discount when purchased in packages of 5 or 8 45 minute lessons. The lesson packages may be broken down into half hour or one hour sessions, or any combination there of, totaling the hourly package purchased. We recommend the first session with any new instructor to be scheduled for a minimum of 45 minutes up to two hours.
This program is perfect for women of all ability levels. Full swing fundamentals covered weekly. A short game topic will also be taught each week; putting, chipping pitching and bunker play. Student to instructor ratio of 6 to 1.

Weekly Short Game Clinic:

Instruction focused on shots from within 120 yards including chipping, pitching and bunker play as well as specialty shots.

Form Your Own Group
3 students minimum $110 each
*Series of four 1 hour sessions*
- Form your own group of three or more people and schedule the dates and times that are convenient for you and your friends.
*Add a fourth person and the rate drops to $100 per person.
*Programs can be tailored to you or your group’s individual needs taking into account the differences in skill level, while maintaining the individual attention necessary to improve.*

Great for players looking to develop & sharpen there skills for high school and competitive junior golf. Shot Making, Scoring, On- Course Instruction, Rules & Etiquette

*Elite Junior Players Academy*
For the junior golfer that is serious about his/her game and has aspirations to play in high school and college. This is an intense program that prepares the junior for competitive golf. The Players Program is designed for the intermediate student who is looking to improve all facets of his or her game. This compr ehensive program covers all areas of the game, including ball striking, advanced short game, and mental aspects of the game, fitness and nutrition. Players will have the opportunity to play in Philly PGA Jr Tour, US Challenge Cup Tour, OJGT, AJGA, FCWT and USGA events.

Summer Camps
For boys and girls ages 5-17 with a 6 to 1 student to instructor ratio. Each camp meets for five consecutive days. Instruction on all aspects of the game is provided as well as on course play. Rules and etiquette are covered along with fun games and competitions.
The Juniors Summer Camps will introduce the game of golf in a fun yet productive way to your child. The focus of the class is on fundamentals with the emphasis on fun! Through different fun and challenging games your children will develop the skills necessary to make golf enjoyable

Video Swing Analysis
One of the best ways to quickly improve your swing is through the use of video swing analysis. Our computer analysis systems combine the best digital video cameras, computers and state of the art software to provide you with the best visual teaching aid on the market today.
