| Patriots Glen - Course Details
History:
According to history, in 1777 an invasion force of 265 ships containing 17,000 British soldiers landed minutes from Elkton, while Generals Washington, Lafayette and Greene stood on the very ground where Patriots Glen is now situated. In its design, hallowed history is forever preserved and is embodied in the essence of The Club at Patriots Glen.
About the Designers:
Jeff Matthai of Morris & Ritchie Associates Inc. (MRA) is the course designer. Matthai is also known for designing the Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa, Maryland. MRA itself is a full service consulting engineering firm that also provides professional services in architecture, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, site planning, landscape architecture, water resources, and surveying. MRA Golf Services (MRAGS) continues this tradition by designing playable, strategically challenging, maintainable and aesthetically pleasing golf courses. In addition, MRA's affiliate company, Geo-Technology Associates Inc., provided all environmental and geo-technical services for the project.
